Membership 

The Essex Junction Democratic Committee's (EJDC) goals are to get upstanding Democratic candidates elected to local office, educate and organize in the city, to help citizens become knowledgeable about important local issues, and that takes money.

The nominal membership fee will help us safeguard campaign funds raised through our yearly fundraising, so that those funds can be used more for campaigns and education/outreach and less to pay for the costs of running the organization.

 

Annual membership runs from January 1st to December 31st and are $10.00 per person.  

Any person joining after June 30th, dues will be $5.00 and then $10.00 when the new cycle starts on Jan 1.

***Financial waivers are available, no questions asked.  We do not want any barriers to any person who would like to join and participate.  If you need a waiver, please check the box in the payment section of the membership form.  This information will be kept private.  Only the Secretary and Treasurer will have access to this information for record keeping purposes***

We accept members throughout the year. New members may participate in discussion at the first regularly scheduled meeting after they join, but may not vote on any committee business or committee elections until 28 days after submission.

**Biennial Caucus (Re-Org) is open to all registered Democrats that reside within the City of Essex Junction and dues are not applicable**
